Celebrating Preservation, History & Craftsmanship

The National Aviation Heritage Invitational Lands at CCAF 2025

A prestigious competition celebrating the finest in historic aircraft restoration.

The National Aviation Heritage Invitational (NAHI) is a prestigious aircraft restoration competition founded in 1998 to promote the preservation of aviation history and recognize excellence in aircraft restoration. Held in partnership with Planes of Fame Air Museum, the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum, and the National Aviation Hall of Fame, NAHI brings together top restorers from across the country to showcase historically significant aircraft restored to airworthy condition. This year’s competition is proudly presented by Perform Air International. NAHI plays a vital role in honoring craftsmanship, celebrating aviation heritage, and inspiring future generations.
