Transient Aircraft Information
Pilots are welcome to arrive and depart the Santa Maria Airport before and after the airshow.
FREE transient aircraft parking will be located on the south side of the airport, near the Central Coast Jet Center. A FREE shuttle to the airshow will be available to take pilots and their guests from the Jet Center to Gate 3 and back.
Guests who fly in will be required to purchase a general admission ticket to the event.
To register your aircraft and reserve your space in the transient aircraft parking area, please click "REGISTER AIRCRAFT" below. While you are not required to pre-register your aircraft, it is helpful to show organizers to prepare for your aircraft arrival.

ARRIVAL PROCEDURES
The airspace will be closed daily during the waiver period, Friday through Sunday. The waiver will be in effect Friday between 12:00pm and 8:00pm, Saturday and Sunday between 10:30am and 6:00pm (WAIVER TIMES UPDATED 8/8/2024) from September 20-22, 2024 (times subject to change). Tune to ATIS frequency 129.975 upon arrival for updates.
PLEASE NOTE: while the waiver is technically scheduled from 10:30am to 6:00pm (Sat/Sun) - the show is scheduled to end by 4:00pm and the show anticipates lifting the waiver at approximately 4:30pm to allow for transient aircraft departure.
Pilots are responsible for checking the NOTAM for up-to-date information, air traffic information and arrival/departure procedures.
Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) will be in place during the event. Be prepared to arrive before 10:00AM and leave after 5:00PM. Private aircraft will not be allowed to leave during the show, no exceptions.
Additionally, weather can be a factor. SMX is sometimes foggy in the morning, please check weather before departure.

Central Coast Jet Center is located adjacent to the Transient Aircraft Parking Area and will be available to fuel your aircraft. No self fueling options are available October 18 & 19.
